The Fly is a music magazine whose website uses video content to generate traffic. Their “Courtyard Sessions,” where musicians turn up to perform acoustic sessions off the cuff, are particularly popular. iVideocracy caught up with deputy editor, Harriet Gibsone, to learn about The Fly’s use of video content.
This video itself provides two handy examples of what to avoid in a video interview:
- Try to eat breakfast beforehand, because if you don’t, the rumbling of your stomach might drown out your interviewee.
- Try not to knock loads of stuff of a shelf during the interview, because if you do, the clatter might also drown out your interviewee.
